The one man that can carry the Chicago Bears. I got news for you, it’s not Justin Fields. His been disappointing so far this season but he’s still very young. The one man that can carry the Bears this season is Khalil Herbert. Changing of the Guard? David Montgomery is day to day with the leg injury he suffered Sunday but it looks like he will miss a few weeks. If he misses next week’s game and Herbert goes off again I think he is your new number one back. Even if Montgomery doesn’t miss any time Herbert will play…

Lovie Smith will be welcomed back rudely. Not so much by fans, but by a fired up and angry Bears team. I think most fans appreciate Smith and realize he was a good coach for the Bears. I think they they will give him a warm welcome, maybe even a standing ovation at some point. That’s where the kindness will end. Bears are the more talented team For the first time this season the Bears have a more talented roster then there opponent. At basically every position as well. Texans starting quarterback Davis Mills had a solid week one, but…

Bears have a chance to step on the throat of Rodgers. It always takes the Pack a few games to get that high powered offense up to speed. Even so they manage to have the Bears number in early season match ups. I don’t think to many people were surprised by the Packers struggles Sunday against the Vikings for this reason. Atleast I wasn’t. Of course Aaron Rodgers will get pissed by half time of the Bears game and throw four second half touchdowns. Seen it a million times. This year does feel different however. 30 years of MVP…

Ugly weather attributes to ugly win for Bears. Although many say there is no such thing as an ugly win. How about an ugly loss then, because San Francisco lost the game Sunday afternoon more then the Bears won it. Even so, there were positive things to take away from Sunday’s game. None more important then the W. Eberflus’s debut Eberflus’s hard-nosed coaching style is what won the game for the Bears on Sunday. A water logged Soldier Field made for a low scoring game which magnified penalties and turnovers. The Bears won both of those battles, especially penalties and…

Former Packers are key for the Bears to make history. As much as Bears fans hate to admit it the Green Bay Packers are a well ran organization. Especially on the offensive side of the ball. That’s why Bears fans should be excited about the former Packers the Bears have added, and why they may help 2022 Bears offense make team history. This is assuming Justin Fields has taken the jump that I believe he has. Luke Getsy Getsy was well sought after during the off season, even as a head coach for some teams. That’s because of his extensive…

Bears fans celebrate as Ted Phillips announces plans to retire. Bon voyage Teddy, don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. In 1983 the Bears had an incredible draft. They selected building blocks for the superbowl team. Covert, Dent, Richardson, Thayer, Duerson, Gault and Bortz.  That’s an amazing haul in one draft. Unfortunately that same year they hired a weasel by the name of Ted Phillips, who along with the McCaskey’s would run the Bears franchise into the ground. Not Virginia she’s an absolute doll. Her son’s and their buddy Phillips however? Absolute football morons.…

The Bears may have found a gem amongst other teams cuts. The Bears signed six players off waivers today including lineman Alex Leatherwood. Let me tell you why they may have found a gem in Leatherwood. Leatherwood in College Alex Leatherwood went to Alabama where he was a star at numerous spots on the offensive line. His sophomore more year he played right guard, where he won the Outland award. That goes to the nations best interior lineman. His final season at Alabama he played well at left tackle helping the Crimson tide win a national title. He played well…

Three free agents the Bears should look at. The Bears have given fans a little bit more hope as they beat the Browns Saturday night and looked good doing it. Yes it’s only preseason, but it’s hard to not take notice of how well they played. Most noticably Justin Fields. So if the Bears are better then we originally presumed there are a few free agents out there that could help this team. Maybe not win a Superbowl but atleast make a playoff run. There are no game changers in the market, but definitely some guys that have things to…

Week three for the Bears tonight, the “Superbowl” of the preseason. Am I exaggerating? Perhaps, but it certainly feels like it some seasons. This is the time of year when NFL fans crave meaningful football, like a star wide receiver craves attention. Known as the “dress rehearsal” game, but how much do you really see that’s of any importance? As a fan there is a little meat on the bone, seeing the starters open it up a little bit. You aren’t going to see any  jaw dropping play calls, and certainly no exotic defenses. In layman’s terms you’re really just…

The Bears are criminally underrated at this position. With low expectations some units tend to get over looked. With a perfect combination of veteran leadership, and young hungry talent, Ryan Poles may have the perfect ingredients for one of top secondary’s in the league. A few things need to happen first and it starts with a former all-pro. Eddie Jackson What has happened to Eddie Jackson? Some say he’s gotten lazy, others think it was his payday. Whatever has caused the Jackson decline one thing is certain, Eberflus isn’t having it. If anything can bring Jackson back to for its…
