Bears have a chance to step on the throat of Rodgers. It always takes the Pack a few games to get that high powered offense up to speed. Even so they manage to have the Bears number in early season match ups. I don’t think to many people were surprised by the Packers struggles Sunday against the Vikings for this reason. Atleast I wasn’t. Of course Aaron Rodgers will get pissed by half time of the Bears game and throw four second half touchdowns. Seen it a million times. This year does feel different however.
30 years of MVP QB play has to end at some point. Right?
I was six years old when I first started understanding the NFL and what I was watching. Also the year the Packers traded for Favre. Since then my life has been a living hell of amazing Packer quarterback play, and I’m not sure what sin I committed in a past life to deserve this. Was I Hitler? However all good things come to an end. I will never doubt Aaron Rodgers again like I have in seasons past. In my opinion he’s the greatest QB all-time, but at some point the man will lose his talent. Are we starting to see that? Probably not, but I do think he continues to lose interest in the game more and more each year. It’s starting to show. He can still carry a team, I just don’t think he wants to anymore.
Who other then Rodgers?
I love their running back A.J Dillon. He’s a monster, and runs at the defense like they beat his mother. Keep track of how many corners and safeties he puts on the IR this season. I like Dillon bit he’s not a star. The Packers really don’t have may stars in my opinion. Yes I know they have Bakhtiari at tackle, and I will give you Jaire Alexander. Aaron Jones I suppose you can call a star as well. I’m used to Rodgers having more around him even when they are considered depleted. Packer fans will yell at me I’m sure about a few players they think I’m not giving their due diligence. One of my closest friends since elementary school bleeds the hideous green and yellow, but he knows his stuff. I’m sure he will let me know other Packer stars I missed. I bet this season feels different to him and other Packers fans though. By the way If you would like to send him hate mail dm me.
Do the Packers secretly hate Rodgers?
Bears fans would riot if we had Rodgers and treated him the way the Packers do. Money aside It seems every year they are trying to anger him. “Aaron you need a reciever in the draft? Ok, we will draft your back up in the first round instead”. “Hey Aaron, Adams might be the best receiver in the league don’t ya think? So do we, so we’re going to trade him.” The Packers take Rodgers for granted. As much as I don’t care for him personality wise I’m starting to feel sorry for him, and I do dig this new found spiritual side. He has a Superbowl, he has the money, the legacy, what else does he want? Get out now Aaron before your brains become mush. You can’t achieve much more and you sure as hell aren’t getting help.
Sunday night maybe much more important then we know
It’s hard to criticize the Packers organization because they win, but when you have a QB like Rodgers it’s hard not to win. Rodgers has owned the Bears let’s be honest, but those days maybe numbered. If the Packers get embarrassed against the Bears Sunday night I think that will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back, and Rodgers will check out mentally. As of now I’m leaning towards the Packers winning this game but I’m undecided. I love the Bears so I don’t need to hear all the “stop loving the Packers and Rodgers” comments. I’m paid the big bucks to write honest opinionated pieces. I would love to be wrong if I pick the Packers. These games are always important especially when both teams are contenders, but Sunday night could unofficially be the end of a legacy. Thank God! Now let the Bears be the team with the hall of Fame QB.
The Bears do have some say
We still aren’t sure what we have with the Bears. Hopefully Sunday night will have much better weather and they can showcase more of the offense. The Packers know Getsy well. That’s a real big problem. He’s going to have to come up with new looks all night. If the Bears get blown out, or blow a late lead like in 2018 I will freak out! Not really, maybe a broken T.V remote so let me apologize to my wife in advance. She happens to think Rodgers is cute by the way. Dm me if you want to send her hate mail. Let’s hope the Bears push Rodgers to retirement Sunday! 🐻⬇️
