In the NFL they say you can’t fully judge a player until their third or fourth season. That maybe the case for this forgotten Bears veteran who’s entering his prime and turning heads at camp. Most importantly Coach Eberflus. Kindle Vildor is making the staff take notice. Sophomore slump Vildor was given the starting corner spot last season opposite Jaylon Johnson, and Vildor struggled. In just his second season he made it until Thanksgiving, when he was benched for Artie “one man party” Burns. That’s the nickname I gave Burns because receivers constantly beat him as well as made him…

There has been a lot of talk recently about where the Bears will play when their contract at Soldier Field is up. There is a very good chance the Bears are leaving. It may be 10 years away but its never a bad time for some Soldier Field nostalgia. So why not look back at the five most memorable Bears moments in Soldier Field history. Plus it’s nice to get a break from the Roquan Smith and Teven Jenkins talk for a little bit. Also I enjoy hearing from Bears fans that disagree with me on lists like this. It’s…

We’re almost a week into training camp and there is already rotation and early concerns on the Bears O-line. The bad news is it’s early. The good news, it’s early. So, let’s discuss what’s happening and what the most likely outcome is. New guys in town Last week Ryan Poles showed he doesn’t think this is just a rebuilding year by signing veterans, tackle Riley Reiff and guard Michael Schofield. Now while neither is a Hall of famer, they are absolutely upgrades at their positions, and guys you can win with. Schofield is a monster at 6’6. That’s huge for…

The five most intriguing games on the Bears schedule. Obviously this is subject to change depending on how the season goes. As of right now however these five stand out for different reasons. In case this season is a disaster, these games give you something to look forward too. Washington Commanders: Week 6 Am I the only person that hates calling them the Commanders? Washington roles into Chicago on a Thursday night on October 13th. Thursday night games are notorious for being bizarre because players are out of their normal routine with the short week. Can the Bears awaken their two sleeping giants? The giants I am referring to are two of their new acquisitions at receiver. Equanimeous St. Brown who stands at 6’5 and N’Keal Harry who is 6’4. Both had great college careers but have struggled in the NFL thus far. Can the Bears get them to reach their potential? St. Brown has come to town St. Brown played his college days at the university of Notre Dame. As an Irish fan myself I personally watched the majority of St. Browns career, and he was a human highlight reel. The fact he was…

Training camp is underway, and with a new coaching staff at the helm, it seems something most of us assumed is being confirmed. Jaylon Johnson outs Nagy and company during his press conference Wednesday. Not really saying anything surprising, yet it was surprising to hear. Jaylon tells it how it is. When Jaylon Johnson was asked Wednesday what are some of the differences between the previous coaching staff and the new, he didn’t hesitate to answer. ” Consistency, they take it back to the fundamentals.” “Tough nosed football.” ” We will be in better shape.” “The difference is crazy.” Crazy? That’s…

With training camp starting the Bears best player is threatening a hold out. So what will the Bears do with Roquan Smith? It’s not like Smith sprung this on the Bears. Ryan Poles knew Roquan would want an extension they day he was hired and it’s been in the public eye since April . So what does that tell us? Roquan wants top money We all know Roquan Smith is one of the top linebackers in the league, and so does Smith and his agent. They are going to want top dollar. Here’s a list of the five highest…

Top ten underrated Bears since 85. I agree this may seem a little random but here was my motivation. Darnell Mooney may be the most underrated player in the NFL today, and I don’t know if there is enough to write an entire article on that. It made me start thinking of other underrated Bears however, and I chose  85 because that’s the year I was born, and my knowledge on the team before then is very good, but not good enough. I don’t know enough about players like Doug Buffone, or Ed O’Bradovich who would deserve to be on…

It looks like the Bears may have missed again on a high round tackle. Teven Jenkins career has not gotten off to a very good start. Something Bears fans are all to familiar with.  At least this one isn’t on current Gm Ryan Poles. No chalk another one up to Ryan Pace, we will be paying the price of his mistakes for awhile. It starts with an injury The first sign of trouble came when it was reported Jenkins would miss a good portion of the 2021 season before he ever stepped on the field as a Bear. Jenkins was…
