Former Packers are key for the Bears to make history. As much as Bears fans hate to admit it the Green Bay Packers are a well ran organization. Especially on the offensive side of the ball. That’s why Bears fans should be excited about the former Packers the Bears have added, and why they may help 2022 Bears offense make team history. This is assuming Justin Fields has taken the jump that I believe he has.
Luke Getsy
Getsy was well sought after during the off season, even as a head coach for some teams. That’s because of his extensive offensive background and working around a Packers offense and quarterback that are legendary. Granted Paris Hilton could probably look good as an offensive play caller if she had Rodgers at quarterback, but honestly where better to get a play caller from then Green Bay? Not just a play caller either. A guy who has learned a thing or two and can bring intangibles to Fields and the Bears offense.
Equanimeous St. Brown
No one will argue Darnell Mooney is top dog when it comes to Bears recievers, but every great offense in NFL history had two great recievers. Moss/Carter, Bruce/Holt, Harrison/Wayne, Marshall/Jeffrey, and no im not saying that Bears offense with Marshall and Jeffrey is one of the best in history, but they were one of the best in team history. I’m also not Saying the duo of Mooney and St. Brown are as good as any of those. I just think this Bears offense has a chance to be the best this franchise have ever had and St. Brown will be a big reason why. He will be a key reason. Hence the title of the article.
Lucas Patrick
Not as important as Getsy or St. Brown but important none the less. He is the anchor of this up and coming offensive line that are going to shock a lot of people. I can see him along with Cody Whitehair being the leaders on that offense. There are talks of him playing at guard, but this is your week one starting center. Making calls at the line and getting guys set up. He needs to take charge quickly however. He just returned to practice Monday, and the Bears have a gold rush on the lake front Sunday.
2022 Bears offensive prediction
Damn this team for giving me expectations. When training camp started I saw this as a complete rebuilding year. With Fields looking better then I could have imagined, and being very impressed with this new coaching staff I no longer feel this way. I dont think people realize how good the stable of running backs the Bears have either. I put their top three backs up against any in the NFL. They have some young mean lineman throwing people around too. Obviously Fields is most important, but the 2022 Bears have the pieces to possibly be the franchise’s best offense. I know that’s kind of like being the best third string center in the NBA, it’s not saying much. As always there will be doubters, that’s fine. You aren’t raining on my parade. 🐻⬇️
