The Minnesota Vikings have added another piece to their defense on the first day of the NFL free-agency tampering period. The Minnesota Vikings have signed linebacker Andrew Van Ginkle to a two-year deal worth twenty million dollars. Van Ginkle spent his first five years with the Miami Dolphins. Van Ginkle mostly found himself as a backup with the Dolphins but he made the most out of his time on the field putting up 17 total sacks, four forced fumbles, and two interceptions. It was announced today that former Mississippi State Bulldogs head coach Zach Arnett is joining the in-state rival Ole Miss Rebels in an analyst role. Zach Arnett had a short stint as the head coach of the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Arnett served as defensive coordinator for the Bulldogs before head coach Mike Leach was hospitalized on December 11, 2022. Deantre Prince 2024 Combine Results Prince showed off his speed during his time at the 2024 NFL Combine, he ran a 4.38 40-yard dash which ranked fifth among corners. Prince showed great burst in his 10-yard split where he ranked first among cornerbacks.
