It was announced Monday morning that the New York Jets are re-signing former all-pro kicker Greg Zuerlein to a two-year 8.4 million dollar deal.
Zuerlein is coming off one of the best seasons of his career and certainly his best year with the New York Jets, hitting 35 of 38 field goals along with 15 of 16 extra points. He had a 92.1% success rate in 2023 which was the third-highest of his career. He also hit five field goals from 50+ yards. Zuerliner holds the New York Jets franchise record with the longest field goal which stands at 60 yards.
New York Jets Looking to Fulfill Aaron Rodgers Request
It was rumored a few weeks ago that Aaron Rodgers had requested for the New York Jets to re-sign their specialists. With Zuerlein now re-signed I would expect Thomas Morestead to be back on the New York Jets next year as well.
