The Denver Broncos are looking to get the stench of last season off the franchise, but news surrounding one of their top offensive weapons seems a bit bleak. Adam Schefter is reporting that tight end Greg Dulcich is expected to be out multiple weeks due to a hamstring injury.
Russell Wilson has now lost many of his top targets for at least a portion of the season.
Jerry Jeudy missed Week 1
Tim Patrick is out all year
Greg Dulcich expected to miss multiple games
Brutal.

This is not the first time Dulcich has dealt with a hamstring injury, as this same injury forced him to miss five games last season before recovering. The injury then re-emerged and made Dulcich have to sit out the final two games of the season. Coach Sean Payton is said to be taking the recovery process here seriously and not letting Dulcich back on the field until he is 100 percent healthy.
Dulcich did not have much of an impact for the Broncos in their Week 1 loss against the Las Vegas Raiders, as he had a pair of catches on two targets for 22 yards before exiting the game. The second-year tight end has now played 11 games and has 35 receptions for 433 yards with a pair of touchdown grabs.
What do the Denver Broncos do without Greg Dulcich?
The offense of the Denver Broncos takes another hit as they already are without wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and Tim Patrick. Losing another offensive piece is definitely not a great look as the 0-1 Broncos look to get back into the playoff picture. They still have some solid options with wide receivers Courtland Sutton and rookie Marvin Mims Jr., along with tight end Adam Trautman and running back Javonte Williams, to move the ball.
This will be a good test for quarterback Russell Wilson, as he has struggled since joining the Broncos to be a top-tier quarterback like he was expected to be. Expect to see more one tight end sets for the next few weeks as they can use more three-wide receiver looks on offense.
Hopefully, this hamstring injury does not keep Dulcich sidelined for more than a couple of weeks as the Denver Broncos desperately need him to play well and be healthy.
