The New York Jets are probably the most talked about team in the NFL this year. Of course, being on Hard Knocks helps, but having Aaron Rodgers as your starting quarterback doesn’t hurt either. After 15 years as the starting quarterback of the Green Bay Packers (18 seasons overall), Rodgers was traded to the Jets for a first round pick swap, a 2023 second round pick, and a conditional 2024 second round pick. Since coming to New York, Rodgers has been a noticeably different person and teammate than he was during his last few years in Green Bay. Whereas he would…

Raheem Mostert had a career-year last season, posting over 1,000 all-purpose yards, He had 891 rushing yards and 202 receiving yards with a combined five touchdowns. While that was a fairly good year of production, the Dolphins apparently do not see Mostert as an ideal featured running back. According to Cameron Wolfe of the NFL Network, Miami has been exploring trades for bigger names among the league’s most disgruntled running backs. The San Francisco 49ers sent shockwaves throughout the NFL world on Wednesday. In a somewhat surprising move, the team named 2018 Sam Darnold as their backup quarterback behind starter Brock Purdy (the last pick in the 2022 NFL Draft). This move means that 2021 third overall pick, Trey Lance, is likely to see his time in San Francisco come to an end. He did not show up for practice today, though head coach Kyle Shanahan stated he would “love” for Lance to be present. Instead, it seems that Lance will be traded, and Ian Rapoport named the Minnesota Vikings as…

The Las Vegas Raiders signed free agent wide receiver Jakobi Meyers who had spent the first four seasons of his career with the New England Patriots. Presumably, Meyers did not get the amount of money he was expecting in whatever offer the Patriots made to him. To replace Meyers, New England signed Super Bowl Champion JuJu Smith-Schuster. As it turns out, the two contracts are VERY similar, and Meyers was not too happy with his former team. Related: Is JuJu Smith-Schuster an Upgrade Over Jakobi Meyers? Green Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard made it clear at the end of the season that he believes he has played his last game in Green and Gold. An unrestricted free agent, he is not the wide receiver one that the team had hoped he would be. That being said, Lazard is a solid receiver and can contribute in many ways to a winning football team. This is why two AFC contenders, the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs, have emerged as favorites to sign the five-year veteran. The Chicago Bears are in a very interesting position this offseason. While they have a young quarterback in Justin Fields, they also have the number one overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. While the Bears did spend a first round pick on Fields in 2021, he was mediocre last season and Chicago, obviously, was the worst team in the NFL. There are some who believe that the Bears should trade down in the draft and roll with Fields. He is, after all, a dynamic quarterback that has the ability to break defenses with his legs. That being said, Bears…

The Dallas Cowboys fell short, once again, of their ultimate goal: winning the Super Bowl. Despite their loss in the NFC Playoffs to San Francisco 49ers, there is a belief that the team is not that far away from achieving that goal. Fortunately for Mike McCarthy and Jerry Jones, defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is staying put. Quinn has made the Cowboys’ defense one to be reckoned with and has helped develop young stars like Micah Parson. Quinn also has a long history with eight-time Pro Bowler Bobby Wagner, who was recently released by the Los Angeles Rams. Bleacher Report Names the…
