It would be overly critical to say that Collins was a bust since his biggest problem was related to a torn ACL and MCL during his first season in the Queen City. After that injury, the team brought in Orlando Brown Jr. to take over at left tackle during the following offseason, bumped Jonah Williams to the right side and it was safe to say that the Collins experiment came to an abrupt end.
After Collins was released before the commencement of the 2023 season, he spent the majority of last season on the practice squad of the Dallas Cowboys. Even though he had an opportunity to make an impact with his former team, I’m sure that even Collins will admit that his primary goal of last season was to get to a healthy state. The former Cowboy is only 30 years old and has an opportunity to make a comeback on a legitimate roster.
