Cincinnati Bengals Former Savior Signs New Deal With AFC Powerhouse
Since the aforementioned injury to Burrow in 2020, the Bengals have had a carousel of offensive tackles step in to try to protect him. In 2021, the team brought in former Vikings starter Riley Reiff in 2021 and then they acquired elite former Cowboys right tackle La’El Collins in 2022 to play the right tackle position. Unfortunately, neither play managed to make much of an impact on the team and ultimately left the team shortly after.
Reiff was an older player on a one-year contract that never came with much expectations but Collins was a huge addition by Cincinnati at the time of his contract signing. When he signed with the organization in 2022, he was without a doubt the biggest addition to the team’s offseason when he put pen to paper for a three-year contract worth $21 million.
