The LSU Tigers are coming off a subpar season in 2023. While they had plenty to cheer about, thanks to Jayden Daniels, the team couldn’t take down the best of the conference. They are hoping that 2024 is a different story. They got some offensive help when former Liberty wide receiver CJ Daniels committed to the program.

LSU Tigers Land WR CJ Daniels
Daniels had a great season for the Flames. He caught 55 passes for 1067 yards with ten touchdowns in 2023. His play was a huge part of the 13-1 season by the Conference USA team. He now comes to LSU and is eager to show that he can put up these types of numbers against the best in the country. Daniels had this to say in a statement to On3.
“Honestly, the feeling was different than any other school. They were real with me about developing me to chase my dreams and reach my goals. I felt as if this was the best fit for me and my family.”
2024 Outlook
Daniels will get plenty of national matchups to showcase his talent. The season kicks off against USC in one of the premier matchups of opening weekend. After that, the SEC schedule is full of high-profile matchups. Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Alabama, Florida, and Oklahoma are all on the docket for 2024. Getting an offensive weapon like Daniels will help drastically in keeping up with the high-flying offenses of the SEC.
Can the LSU Tigers bounce back in 2024? They have some adjustments to make, but ultimately, if they keep adding this type of talent, they should be just fine.
