After much deliberation and being officially listed as ‘questionable’, a one of the keys to the Jacksonville Jaguars’ running game, Travis Etienne, has had his playing status confirmed, per Underdog NFL.

How Does This Impact The Jacksonville Jaguars’ Offense?
Travis Etienne is unquestionably one of the NFL’s top dual-threat running/receiving backs. With bursting pace, often his greatest strength is being able to burn opposing defenders in space and cutting to the flanks on outside zone runs – more than simple power or shiftiness inside the tackles.
This year, he already has over 1000 yards from scrimmage, over 300 of which are receiving, and having some explosiveness on the edge will important against a robust and fast defensive unit in the Cincinnati Bengals under defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo. Although the Jaguars have other competent backs in rookie Tank Bigsby and veteran D’Ernest Johnson, Etienne is unquestionably a game changer for them.
Having Etienne available for the Jags will thus be excellent news for the Jacksonville brass, although going in against a Cincinnati team that has had little to smile about since the season ending injury to Joe Burrow – and are 10 point underdogs tonight vs the playoff bound 8-3 Jaguars.
