EA Sports College Football 25 has released the ratings of the top 100 players for the game releasing in less than a week. The SEC has been one of the most dominant conferences in college football and the ratings of the elite players definitely showcase that. Let’s take a look at the top five SEC player ratings in EA Sports College Football 25.
#5 SEC Player: Missouri Tigers WR Luther Burden III (94)
Missouri Tigers wide receiver Luther Burden III is the highest-ranking wide receiver from the SEC. He had an incredible season in 2023 as he finished with 86 receptions for 1,212 yards (14.1 yards per catch) and nine touchdown receptions. He has been an incredible wide receiver and the 120 targets he received last season really showcased his abilities.
He is going to be a slot receiver in the game in most sets and can really make people miss with his blistering speed.
#4 SEC Player: Georgia Bulldogs RG Tate Ratledge (95)
One of the most underrated parts of the Georgia Bulldogs is their offensive line and you will be able to run some halfback dives with Tate Ratledge blocking in front. He is the second-highest offensive lineman in the game and the 10th-highest overall player. He has done well as in two seasons, allowing one sack, four quarterback hits and six quarterback hurries.
Offensive linemen aren’t sexy in video games but players will have extra time in the pocket during EA Sports College Football 25.
#3 SEC Player: Georgia Bulldogs FS Malaki Starks (95)
The only SEC team with two players on this list is the Georgia Bulldogs as free safety Malaki Starks is the only secondary player to appear. He is also the second-highest rated free safety in the game behind Ohio State’s Caleb Downs. He improved from 2022 and is one of the best in terms of tackling in the nation. He had three interceptions and quarterbacks had a 51.4 completion percentage and a 61.6 NFL quarterback rating when targeting him last year.
Expect Starks to be an absolute ballhawk in EA Sports College Football 25.
#2 SEC Player: Texas Longhorns RE James Pearce Jr. (95)
Edge rusher James Pearce Jr. has been one of the top overall players in college football and is the fourth-ranked player in the game. His ability to shed blocks and get to the quarterback is going to be unmatched from any SEC player as he had 13 sacks in 246 pass snaps last season. His 90.4 PFF grade in 2023 also makes him difficult to guard against.
#1 SEC Player: LSU Tigers LT Will Campbell (96)

The top SEC player in EA Sports College Football 25 is actually tied for the highest overall in the entire game and the top offensive lineman. LSU’s left tackle Will Campbell is one of the top players for the 2025 NFL draft and had a PFF grade of 82.8 last season with the Tigers.
He did not allow a single sack and just five quarterback hits in 805 offensive snaps so he has shown to be able to defend the edge. It will be difficult to get around the left side of the LSU Tigers offensive line in the game and Will Campbell is going to be a star.
