The Baltimore Ravens have been dominating throughout the season as with the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15, they are top of the AFC with an 11-3 record. Things continue to be bright for the team and it definitely helps when defensive tackle Justin Madubuike has officially tied an NFL record.
Justin Madubuike has recorded at least half a sack in each of the previous 11 games for the Baltimore Ravens and that is tied for the NFL record. In Week 15, he recorded a full sack and has 12.0 total sacks for the season and since Week 4, has found a way to add to his total each and every week. Next week against the San Francisco 49ers will be the chance for him to officially break this record.
This Baltimore Ravens defense has been one of the best in the NFL as they are second in points per game allowed and Justin Madubuike has proven to be a huge reason why the team leads the NFL in total sacks. It is going to be difficult to find a team that is better than them on this side of the football.
Will the Baltimore Ravens figure out how to continue winning games to end the season?
With their win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Baltimore Ravens have improved to 11-4 and are still holding onto the top seed in the AFC. They have a brutal schedule to finish the regular season as they face the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers to wrap up the year. They control their own destiny for the remainder of the season for the top seed in the AFC.
They are going to be battle-tested as a result and that will be a huge aspect for the team as the Baltimore Ravens have been dealing with a bevy of injuries throughout the season. The quarterback position in particular has been dealing with injuries this season but Lamar Jackson has been able to remain healthy. With an incredible team that has survived many injuries, they are going to be in a great position to win games and be ready for playoff-level teams.
The goal for the Ravens has been hoisting the Lombardi Trophy and they are going to be the favorite to win the conference. They are tied with the Dolphins in terms of their record and that Week 17 game between one another is going to be interesting.
