The time has come for the Washington Huskies to officially turn the page away from a tumultuous 2021 season. The program will open its season at home against the Kent State Golden Flashes, who went 7-7 overall last season. UW would like to start this year much better than last season. Last year, Washington embarrassingly fell to the Montana Grizzlies 13-7 at home in its season opener. A lot of things have happened with the program since that day. Kalen DeBoer takes over for Jimmy Lake, who was fired late in the 2021 season. DeBoer’s offensive background should give the…

Michael Penix Jr. has been named the Washington Huskies next starting quarterback, coach Kalen DeBoer said Tuesday. He took the job away from incumbents Dylan Morris and Sam Huard, who each started games last season. Penix transferred to Washington in December after four seasons with the Indiana Hoosiers. He already had history with some coaches on the staff; specifically Kalen DeBoer and tight end coach Nick Sheridan. DeBoer was the Hoosiers offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in 2019. Then, Sheridan took over as the offensive coordinator when DeBoer left for Fresno State. Penix had three solid seasons with both DeBoer and…

WR MICHAEL THOMAS, NO Saints: OVER 5.5 Rec TDs (-120 DK) Thomas was regarded as one of the NFL’s top…

A NFL season-long player prop worth focusing on involves New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones. The 25-year-old pro enters his fourth season with the franchise on the hot seat. He’s logged 8,398 passing yards with a 45-29 Passing TD-INT ratio over his career. He’s also been a running threat with 1,000 rushing yards and 5 rushing touchdowns. Unfortunately, the Giants are only 12-25 in games he starts. His now-or-never situation makes all his season-long player props intriguing. Statistically, Jones has been a decent player. However, injuries and turnovers are why his status with the Giants is in limbo. The team…

Sadly, the sides could not come to an agreement before camp. However, Pete Carroll let everyone know they are addressing it. “We’re working,” Carroll said. “I don’t have any update for you,…

Every year, The Athletic’s Mike Sando polls 50 NFL coaches and executives rank and share their opinions on a given number of NFL’s quarterbacks.
