After an exhilarating road win over the Wisconsin Badgers last week, the Washington State Cougars earned an easy 38-7 victory over the Colorado State Rams Saturday. WSU came into the contest as a 17-point favorite, and proved why that was the case very quickly. The Cougars’ offense scored a touchdown on four straight possessions to open the game. Washington State quarterback Cameron Ward found receiver Donovan Ollie for a 17-yard TD pass to open the scoring early. https://twitter.com/Pac12Network/status/1571250023714942976 Ward then capped the next two drives with TD passes to De’Zhaun Stribling. He went back to Ollie for his fourth and…

It’s another great week to bet some NFL player props. Week 2 is underway as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Los Angeles Chargers 27-24 Thursday night. However, some of the best action is coming this Sunday. After hitting two out of three bets in Week 1, here’s another trio of player props worth locking in for Week 2 immediately. Tom Brady UNDER 277.5 Passing Yards at Saints (-115 DK) It seems crazy betting the under on the Greatest Quarterback of All Time. However, Brady only threw for 212 yards against the Cowboys in Week 1.  Plus, there are plenty…

Pac-12 Football had a much better showing this weekend as opposed to the previous one. Week 2 was highlighted with a huge upset in Big Ten country and a walk-off touchdown at the end of regulation. Here are six quick takeaways from all the Pac-12 action. 1. Something Special Brewing in Corvallis? For the second straight week, the Oregon State Beavers got the better end of a Mountain West foe. They beat the Fresno State Bulldogs 35-32. OSU showed some uncanny resiliency and fortitude after the Bulldogs to the 32-29 lead with a 1:05 left. Two-way player Jack Colletto scored…

For the first time since 2018, the Washington State Cougars have beaten a AP ranked team. They moved to 2-0 on the season after a physical 17-14 victory over the No. 19 Wisconsin Badgers. Their performance was far from perfect, but the Cougs did just enough to escape Camp Randall Stadium. The Badgers held onto the ball nearly twice as long as the Cougars. Wisconsin also outgained Washington State 401-251 in total yards. They tied in turnovers committed with three. All signs suggest the Badgers should have won the game. Yet, WSU was the team celebrating at midfield when the…

Time to transition from season-long player props to single-game one. Sportsbooks are slowly trickling out NFL player props for Week 1 of the NFL season. Even though the full slate is not fully available yet, there’s still plenty of numbers and odds to lock in right now. Kirk Cousins OVER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns vs Packers (-135 DK) Cousins threw at least two touchdowns in 13 out of 17 games last season, and cleared that benchmark 13 out of 16 games in 2020. Also, since joining the Vikings in 2018, Cousins has covered this number in three out of home games…

There’s been plenty of opinions about the Seattle Seahawks trading away nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson. Many believe the clear decline in QB play will result a much more negative results than Seattle is accustomed. However, head coach Pete Carroll disagrees with with pessimism. “I don’t feel like that at all,” Carroll said Monday. “I don’t feel like any part of any of that is what’s true other than the fact that that’s what people think. I’m not in that business now. I’m in the business of helping these guys get ready to play with all of the work…

The Washington State Cougars overcame a slow, sloppy start and beat the Idaho Vandals 24-17 in the season opener. A win is a win. However, there’s plenty of positive and negative takeaways from this performance. Ball Security is a Problem Washington State turned the ball over three times. Two can from running backs Nakia Watson and Jaylen Jenkins. The third came from wide receiver Donovan Ollie, whose fumble became a quick Vandals 3-yard return for a touchdown. In the past, fumbling had only been a quarterback concern. Previous running backs like Jamal Morrow, James Williams and Max Borghi rarely fumbled.…

The Washington State Cougars came away with an ugly 24-17 victory over the Idaho Vandals. It was far from a solid performance, and shockingly, the struggles came from the offense. After all the offseason fanfare about the offense, the Cougars opened the game with fumbles on two straight possessions; first by Nakia Watson and the second by Donovan Ollie. The Vandals returned the latter for a touchdown, and held a 10-0 lead within the first 12 minutes of the game. Eventually, Cameron Ward and Washington State offense got things together. They tied the game at 10 at halftime, and built…

It’s a new, promising year for the Oregon State Beavers. After a 7-6 campaign in 2021, OSU has even higher aspirations for this season. The program has not won its first game of the season since 2015, and unfortunately, this year’s season opener is against the Boise State Broncos. That’s a tough matchup. Boise State had a 7-5 record last season, and unfortunately missed out on playing in the Arizona Bowl due to COVID. The Broncos have won six of their last seven season openers with the one loss coming last year at UCF. They should feel confident about this…

Oregon State Head Coach Jonathan Smith listed redshirt junior Chance Nolan as the starting quarterback on the program’s Week 1 depth chart. He beat redshirt senior Tristan Gebbia and burgeoning redshirt freshman Ben Gulbranson for the gig. Nolan started 13 games for the Beavers last season. So, it wasn’t shocking to see him get the nod again. He threw for 2,677 passing yards with 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also rushed for 286 yards with three touchdowns. Nolan’s dual threat ability helped the Beavers to a 7-6 record in 2021. It was the first time Oregon State had played…
