After a successful Week 5, it time for the Week 6 installment of Thursday Night Football Prime Picks and Props. Unfortunately, TNF once again features a battle between teams with horrendous offenses. It’s the 1-4 Washington Commanders facing the 2-3 Chicago Bears. This game is virtually a pick’em in the eyes of the oddsmakers. On DraftKings, the Bears are 1-point home favorites with the game total sitting at 38 points. Chicago is -115 on the moneyline while Washington is -105. The spread has bounced swung back and forth since it opened, and it will likely continue all the way up…

Week 6 in the Pac-12 only featured five games with Colorado and California on bye weeks. However, all five matchups were compelling and either provided entertainment or a stunning result. Here are some of the biggest takeaways from this weekend within the conference. UCLA’s the Top Team in the Pac-12 It has been a rapid rise for the UCLA Bruins over the past two weeks. First, they trounced No. 15 Washington 40-32. Now, they’ve beaten No. 11 Utah 42-32. That’s two victories over AP ranked opponents in consecutive weeks. They are now a Top 15 team, and they are certainly…

It was a profitable start to NFL Week 5. Thursday Night Football Prime Picks hit on four out of the five plays; including a +900 six-leg same game parlay. Luckily, there’s still 15 more games to have some action on this Sunday. Here’s some profitable bets that deserve some attention. Lock of Week 5: San Francisco 49ers -6.5 at Carolina Panthers While the 49ers had a short week to prepare for the Panthers, this is still the best bet of NFL Week 5. Why? Well, Carolina has been the least profitable team against the spread (ATS) since last year, and…

Thursday Night Football Prime Picks features a battle between two underwhelming teams. The 1-2-1 Indianapolis Colts travel to Denver to face the 2-2 Broncos. On DraftKings, the Broncos opened as 3-point home favorites (now -3.5) while the total is at 43. Denver is -165 on the moneyline while Indy is a +155 underdog.  It’s a tough game to get a read on, but there are some betting angles for a game involving two desperate teams. It’s important to note both teams are banged up. Colts linebacker Shaquille Leonard appears unlikely to get through concussion protocol before gametime. Plus, running back…

The Pac-12 performing well in nonconference play to start the season has made its conference games much more crucial in the national landscape. Despite no ranked matchups this weekend (same as last week), three out of the six conference games featured teams with 3-1 records or better facing off against one another. Here are six takeaways from all the action. Add UCLA to the Pac-12 Contenders List Despite a 4-0 start to the season, UCLA came into the week unproven. It’s hard to take a team that’s only played Bowling Green, Alabama State, South Alabama and Colorado seriously. However, the…

Week 4 of the NFL season is underway, and it’s time to target some player props for the upcoming Sunday. The full player prop slate is not available yet due to injury reports. However, there’s still some worth targeting now.  The Week 3 NFL Player Props piece hit two out of three player props once again. That’s three straight weeks with that result to start the season. Does the trend continue into Week 4? RB Ezekiel Elliott UNDER 9.5 Rec Yards vs Commanders (-115 DK) Yes, receiving yards player props with numbers this low are incredibly hard to pull the…

After a great Week 3, the Pac-12 came into Week 4 with four teams ranked in the AP Top 25 (four in the Gridiron Top 25 too). There shouldn’t be any change to that number despite a wild weekend of conference play. The weekend featured thrilling games, incredible performances, and wacky plays. Here are six takeaways from all the action. Bo Nix Overcomes Crucial Mistake After a disappointing Ducks debut in Georgia, Bo Nix accounted for ten touchdowns in games against Eastern Washington and No. 12 BYU. But, his turnaround came in the comfy confines of Autzen Stadium. He still…

Trailing 34-22, the Oregon Ducks were six minutes and forty two seconds away from falling to 2-2 on the season. However, the offense and defense stepped up. The Ducks scored 22 unanswered points in less than four minutes in route to a 44-41 comeback victory over the Washington State Cougars. Bo Nix was instrumental in Oregon’s comeback. It started with him methodically working the Ducks down the field on an 11-play, 75-yard touchdown drive. The drive included a 21-yard completion to Bucky Irving on fourth down and a one-yard TD to Cam McCormick to make it only 34-29 Cougars. Then,…

It’s time for another installment of NFL Player Props. After hitting two out of three player props last weekend, the goal is to nail all three this weekend. Week 3 is underway as the Cleveland Browns beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 29-17 on Thursday Night Football.  However, there’s still plenty of action left on the table. Here’s another trio of player props worth locking in for Week 2 immediately. Christian McCaffrey UNDER 4.5 Receptions vs Saints (+110 DK) This player prop is definitely risky because McCaffrey has covered this number in six out of seven career games against the New Orleans…

The Pac-12 backed up a positive Week 2 with an even better one in Week 3. This week in the conference featured two Pac-12 programs beating AP Top 15 opponents. It’s first time it’s happened since 2013. Here are some other quick takeaways from all the conference action. Okay Washington, You Have Our Attention Is Washington back? Well, they certainly looked like it against the No. 11 Michigan State Spartans. The Huskies dominated from the very beginning as they jumped out to a 22-0 lead. Ultimately, they claimed the 39-28 victory. For the third straight weekend, UW featured an explosive…
