For those unaware, Jabrill Peppers made some private comments after New England’s Week 12 loss that were made public. Those words were not complimentary toward his team or organization, which is having a rough season. After the video of this incident spread like wildfire, Peppers apologized for what he said when speaking with the media on Friday. Take a look below: https://twitter.com/RealAlexBarth/status/1730660141911908624 However, outside of issuing an apology for having this become a locker-room distraction, Jabrill Peppers had other things to add. He had this to say about the state of the team: “At the end of the day, we’re…

2023 has been a strong year for the Miami Dolphins, who have weaponized speed to race out to an 8-3 record. Half of those games (and wins) have come without arguably the fastest player on the roster. Well, breakout running back De’Von Achane will be back on Sunday afternoon to face the Commanders. It’ll be his sixth game of the season. Running back health has been an issue for Miami all season. Along with Achane missing six of their 11 games, Jeff Wilson Jr. had an IR stint, Chris Brooks is currently on the IR, and Raheem Mostert has been…

Jabrill Peppers doesn’t think highly of his current team. At least, that’s what he’s left the world to believe when talking to former teammate Saquon Barkley last Sunday. Following the New England Patriots’ embarrassing 10-7 defeat, Peppers appeared to tell the star running back “You lucky we ass.” Watch the interaction below: https://twitter.com/BabzOnTheMic/status/1730283256719773891 Now, he’s not wrong, as this miserable 2023 campaign has the Patriots lined up for the third overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft. Losing to a bruised and battered Giants team that has been just as bad this year, thanks to a missed 35-yard field goal…

Jason Kelce and the Philadelphia Eagles overcame the Buffalo Bills in overtime this past Sunday, and tensions were high throughout the matchup. Off the field, Bills defensive player Shaq Lawson got into an altercation with a fan. On the field, his teammate, Jordan Phillips, was trying to injure Eagles guard Cam Jurgens according to Kelce. Speaking to Philadelphia radio Station WIP, Kelce said that during a Brotherly Shove play, Phillips did something that “shouldn’t be allowed.” Jason Kelce also added “I said so to the official on the field. I said, ‘Listen I’ve been running that play a lot of…

Although the Houston Texans are having a great, expectations-defying season, they’re still prone to taking blows. Last Sunday’s 24-21 loss to the rival Jacksonville Jaguars was rough enough, but out of it also came a significant injury. Starting lineman Tytus Howard had to be carted off due to a knee injury. Now, it’s being reported that he will have season-ending surgery to repair it. Howard’s season will only end after seven games played, all starts. He began the 2023 season with a broken hand, costing him the first four games of the season. The Houston Texans had Howard starting at…

On Tuesday, Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper had a press conference addressing the state of the team. At 1-10, Carolina has the NFL’s worst record, yet doesn’t own their first-round pick for the 2024 NFL Draft. Multiple coaches were also fired recently. During that presser, Tepper spoke on the 2023 NFL Draft, in which Carolina traded up to select Bryce Young first overall. He told the media that originally, the Panthers were going to trade for the second spot and grab Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud. Take a look below: https://twitter.com/NFLonCBS/status/1729543136504885301 He did go on to say that they have…

There’s no greater honor in sports than joining the Hall of Fame, and 25 former NFL players are one step closer to making that dream a reality. On Tuesday morning, the 25 modern-era semifinalists for the class of 2024 were announced publicly. Tight end Antonio Gates and defensive end Julius Peppers both made the cut in their first year of eligibility. There is only one other player with a chance this year who has never been a semifinalist before, running back Tiki Barber. This is the full list of 25 modern-era players who are semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall…

If it seems like the repeated instances of NFL players paying the league office for nonsense are at an all-time high, it’s because they are. At the very least, 2023 is shattering what players had to endure in 2022. According to Front Office Sports, this season has already surpassed the previous one in fine infractions and the total money of those fines. https://twitter.com/FOS/status/1728886558605091270 That’s right, after only 11 weeks this year, the NFL had fined players for nearly twice as many infractions as all of 2022. Along with that, $15.5 million worth of punishments has already been handed out. With…

Sometimes, the universe works in your favor, something that Shaq Leonard could be experiencing right now. After getting released from the Colts last week, Leonard may have a new employer soon. According to Josina Anderson, the 9-1 Philadelphia Eagles are interested in his services. Signing with the NFL’s only one-loss team (every other club has three) is never a bad move for a veteran seeking his first Super Bowl. Philadelphia’s interest stems from linebacker Zach Cunningham injuring his hamstring during Sunday’s win over the Bills. There’s a clear need and fit for Leonard on the Eagles. However, Philadelphia has stiff…

When Cal and UCLA kicked off on Saturday night, the Pac-12 (as we know it) was on its last legs concerning regular season action. “Pac-12 After Dark,” as it’s affectionately known, had one of the hilariously harmless mistakes that are much more common during late-night battles. After a UCLA touchdown, the graphic flashed showing the name placeholder, an unfilled marker for the yardage on the score, and that it was a rushing play although the actual score was a passing play. https://twitter.com/awfulannouncing/status/1728638400779972852 Those things simply don’t happen at 3:30 p.m. It was a lighthearted moment in a game that was…
