Kansas City Chiefs fans were upset Sunday afternoon after a report from Michele Tafoya that tight end Travis Kelce is believed to be leaning toward retirement at the end of the team’s postseason.
Kelce is believed to be retiring
Kelce, a two-time Super Bowl champion and seven-time All-Pro, has nothing left to prove on the football field. The 34-year-old has played in the NFL for 11 seasons, which isn’t easy for a tight end. The tight end position is one of the most physical positions in football.

Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, announced to his Philadelphia Eagles teammates his intention to retire this offseason following the Eagles’ loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night.
The Kelce brothers have been planning for their life after football for a while, as the two have set up business ventures in recent seasons. Tofoya thinks Travis and Jason could have a contract to work together on NBC for Sunday Night Football games like Payton Manning and Eli Manning do with ESPN.
Travis also has a new girlfriend to think about.

Chiefs fans reacted to the report of Travis’ impending retirement. Many fans didn’t believe Tafoya’s report, as she laughed about the fact she couldn’t reveal her source during the report. Here are the best takes of fans responding to Tafoya’s report.
He literally said he’s not done anytime soon

Taylor and Travis tour. Kelce will duet a rap song with Swift. 😆

I won’t believe speculation on either until it’s official – reason too. Jason is still the top C in the game, & Kelce is probably still best TE despite not having his usual season & not being best this season.
