Don’t Be Surprised
…But these key NFL offseason additions will catch the season by storm and nobody will see it coming. Except me, of course. And YOU, if you agree with this list. Here lies the Top 3 free agents who could help their team increase their playoff aspirations.
Baker Mayfield

Say what you want about Baker’s commercials but he wouldn’t of gotten them if he wasn’t so damn marketable. The man had so much promise his first few seasons but it wasn’t until Odell Beckham Jr. arrived when things got messy.
Not blaming Odell because he was not a team cancer but his fame was too much in Cleveland. So due to higher expectations, the plays called seemed to force the ball to Beckham OR not at all, from my perspective. All the while, Jarvis Landry is usually facing the second best cornerback during their time with the Browns.
Nonetheless, Baker won’t have that kind of pressure as he should spread the ball at will for the Carolina Panthers offense. With Robbie Anderson, DJ Moore and Christian McCraffrey all providing different ways to skin a defense. We should see a different Baker Mayfield whose more comfortable in the pocket.
JuJu Smith-Schuster

For a second there, I thought JuJu Smith-Schuster was the second coming of Sammy Watkins. The real fans know what I’m getting at but this is a great thing for the Tik Tok king. Pat Mahomes will bring back to life the JuJu we all once knew when his dances were cool.
Listen, I’m not hating but you know its true. I digress, expect to see a rejuvenated and more touchdown friendly JuJu. Mr. Mahomes will probably go down as the best Quarterback Smith-Schuster ever had while both players very much still in their prime. Tyreek who? JK, but No.9 will still be impressive as his replacement.
Julio Jones

Understand one thing about Julio Jones and that the generational talent is nowhere near retirement. During Bucs training camp, he looks more lean and his speed has not wavered. Making great catches still look easy, Julio will help keep Tom Bradys legacy alive and well.
Whats more scary for a defensive coordinator to know their third or fourth best cornerback will have to guard Julio Jones all game long! Thanks to Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and fellow newcomer Russell Gage, new No.85 will be key to winning in the playoffs this season.
Staying on top in an ever improving division should be all but difficult for the Bucs if everyone stays healthy. Tom Brady knows one thing, get playmakers! Oops, he did it…AGAIN!
Honorable Mentions: Tyrann Mathieu, Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan
