The San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers are hashing it out on Saturday night’s NFC divisional playoff matchup. The 49ers are currently in the lead as the fourth quarter commences, and it has been a back-and-forth matchup. However, 49ers fans are devastated after a heartbreaking report came out on one of their star players, who could miss some significant time if the team advances to the conference championship.

San Francisco 49ers Lose Key Weapon
Star wide receiver Deebo Samuel was ruled out for the rest of the game with a shoulder injury. This would be a big loss for the 49ers if they advance to the next round as Samuel has been one of their key playmakers on offense all season long. Samuel exited the game in the first half after being down on the field for a good amount of time and was eventually taken into the locker room for further evaluation.
Deebo Samuel Injuries
Samuel has amounted to 892 receiving yards and seven touchdowns this season even after missing some time dealing with previous injuries earlier in the season. He has been one of the biggest playmakers on the offense aside from running back Christian McCaffrey, who have both combined for a deadly combination this season.
The star wide receiver has gone for 4,122 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns in total over his five-year career. He has dealt with several injuries over his career, which has set him back from having much better stats. His availability if the 49ers do advance is still unknown, but it would be a devastating blow if he is unable to play in their potential next game.
Will Samuel Be Ready To Go?
As the fourth quarter begins, San Francisco is still trailing Green Bay 21-14 in this divisional matchup. The 49ers offense looks like they are struggling without the presence of one of their top playmakers, and could be in jeopardy of being upset.
