What Deebo Samuel Means For The San Francisco 49ers Offense
The 49ers, coming off a Week 9 bye, are 0-3 in their last three games against the Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns. In addition, quarterback Brock Purdy is still recovering from a concussion incurred at Minnesota, and star left tackle Trent Brown did not practice on Wednesday.
However, getting Deebo Samuel back will be crucial to this team’s offense getting back into their proficient early season form, where they went 5-0 to start the year and put up a remarkable 42 points against a reasonably stout Dallas Cowboys defense.
Having their highly compensated running/receiving dual-threat weapon back to combine with Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle, and Christian McCaffrey should give the Niners a much-needed boost this week when they travel to the in-form Jacksonville Jaguars, who are 6-2, having won their last five games.
