Rob Gronkowski is no stranger to the Super Bowl. He has four Super Bowl rings and is now dabbling in broadcasting. He had a surprising Super Bowl pick for 2023 in a recent interview, the Dallas Cowboys.
Rob Gronkowski Predicts The Dallas Cowboys Will Win It All
After years of playoff heartbreak, Gronkowski thinks this is the year that the Cowboys finally break through.
“I’m going to go with the Dallas Cowboys,” he said on “Up & Adams.” “You don’t want to back the favorites because then you don’t win too much. The Dallas Cowboys have some pretty good odds to win some money if they win it all.
“They have added Brandin Cooks at the wide receiver position, a super fast player who can go down the field and he will be a great complement to CeeDee Lamb, and they have also added Stephon Gilmore. He was Defensive Player of the Year a couple of years ago and I think he’s going to make a great comeback this year and play at a high level.
“They have been making the playoffs every year and this is the year I feel they just get over that edge.”
He loves the pieces that Dallas has added along with the already established cornerstones of the team. Brandin Cooks and Stephon Gilmore were the additions that Gronkowski loves and thinks will push the team over the edge.
Can They Actually Do It?
The talent is there. There are a couple of questions that still linger. The first is Mike McCarthy. The head coach will call plays now that Kellen Moore has been relieved of his services. Many doubt whether McCarthy can call an offense in 2023. Dak Prescott is the other reason that many are doubting the team. While I think this is a little unfair as Prescott has often been good in the playoffs, at some point, he is going to have to take over a playoff game.
Rob Gronkowski thinks the Dallas Cowboys can do it. The NFC is very winnable assuming the Cowboys can make it out of their division. Is this the year the Cowboys finally make it to a Super Bowl?
