Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles are preparing for a huge division matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. The quarterback has been dealing with a knee injury and it was reported that after the game against the Washington Commanders, Hurts went under an hour-long treatment. Philadelphia Eagles Jalen Hurts Walks Out Of Press Conference
The question was whether his knee felt better, the same, or worse. Hurts gives a chuckle, gets up, and leaves. This is a curious response to a completely legitimate question. Fans are wondering whether the injury is going to affect his play on the field in a key division matchup. I’m sure Hurts is tired of answering questions about his knee but this didn’t feel like an attacking question, simply one that was trying to gain a better understanding of the situation.
Can The Eagles Win If Hurts Isn’t 100%?
In short, yes. The Eagles have talent all over the field. Even an 80% Jalen Hurts is pretty good especially when AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert are catching passes. We might see the Eagles lean a little more on De’Andre Swift and the running game if Hurts isn’t feeling well but considering that he went last week, I would be surprised if he was limited this week. They have a healthy lead on the Cowboys and would like to extend it.
I still think this was a weird response from Jalen Hurts but probably indicates that he is fine. He is focused on beating the Cowboys in week 9.
