Ohio State’s offensive line has been the team’s most significant question mark the last few seasons, and last week, the Buckeyes saw one of their former offensive linemen who could’ve played a role on the shaky offensive line enter the transfer portal.
Ohio State Will Be Adding New Big Ten Teams To Their Schedule
The Buckeyes have been one of the best teams in the Big Ten in the history of their conference, but they are about to add some competition because Oregon, USC, UCLA, and Washington are joining the conference this season; all four teams have been proven winners in college football. USC has one of the best football coaches in Lincoln Riley, Oregon will be a Top Five team to start the year. UCLA has its moments, but it can be very good at times. Washington just played for a National Championship last season but lost most of their team and head coach. However, they added a Buckeye to their new roster on Monday.

Vimahi was the fifth-ranked guard in the 247sports 2019 recruiting class and played five seasons at Ohio State. The 6-foot-4 Hawaii native played in 35 games, mostly on special teams or as a backup. He did get the start in the 2022 game against Michigan and Ohio State’s last game against Missouri in the Cotton Bowl.
The Buckeyes Are Set On The Offensive Line
The Buckeyes are pretty set on the interior offensive line, and star guard Donovan Jackson decided to return to school instead of heading to the NFL. Alabama starting center Seth McLaughlin transferred in, leaving hardly any open spots on the offensive line.
Washington will have a new offensive line this season, and there will be room for Vimahi to compete for a starting job.
