Ohio State and Michigan never seem to be able to get away from each other. When they aren’t battling on the field, they are batting off it, trying to steal recruits that the other program wants. Over the next few months, there will be a significant recruiting battle between these two states for a tremendous four-star recruit.
Ohio State Has Fallen To Michigan Three Years In A Row

The Wolverines have beaten the Buckeyes well in the last three seasons, handling them in 2021 and 2022. Then, it came down to the final drive in 2023, when Michigan’s star safety Rod Moore picked off Ohio State’s quarterback Kyle McCord to ice the game.
Michigan would then go on to win the National Championship six weeks later, and the Buckeyes put together a huge offseason, returning almost every big-time player and getting great talent from the portal. They are also setting themselves up to land players to be part of their 2025 team, and they have their eyes set on a stud running back from California.

Michigan Lost Out On A Talented Back This Week

Michigan was rumored to be the favorite to land Cleveland Heights running back Marquise Davis, ranked as the 25th running back in the 2025 class according to 247sports.com. Still, the Ohio native decided he wouldn’t play for his state’s biggest rival and decided to head to the SEC and play for Mark Stoops at Kentucky.
