The New England Patriots have taken a large fall from the top of the league. The dynasty that was once the best any American league has ever seen is now one of the worst teams in the league. Now, after the NFLPA report cards have come out, the team is not only the worst on the field but one of the worst teams to play for according to the players.
New England Patriots Are One Of The Worst Teams To Play For
The reports by the NFLPA came out for the second year now and the team got terrible grade sin many categories during Bill Belichick’s last year with the team. Just to start, the team received the lowest possible grade, an F-, in the “Treatment of Families” category. The weight room was also a big issue apparently as it received an F grade.
The biggest concern however for the report is that the team’s owner Robert Kraft, got one of the worst grades for owners at D+. For decades Kraft was thought to be one of the best owners in the league but now many players on the team seem to not think too highly of the owner. That is not a good grade for the future of the team and especially with free agency lurking around the corner.
New England Fans Are Very Concerned After NFLPA Report
The fans of the team are voicing their concern for the report and the culture of the team.
“Bob Kraft really has been a terrible owner for years,” a Patriots fan wrote on X. “Brady made both him and Bill looks better than they ever were.”
“This was all meany Bill don’t worry I’m sure it will change now,” a second fan said sarcastically.
It is very interesting however that Bill Belichick received a B- in his final season with the team. That is not a bad grade at all for a coach that was kicked out of the door this off season. With all of that being said, there will be a lot of pressure on first year head coach Jerod Mayo to turn things around. It does seem however that there are much bigger issues than just the head coach so Kraft will have to look at this report and take a hard look in the mirror to make some changes himself.
