The New England Patriots have been making more quiet moves as NFL free agency has been off to a crazy start. The team has mostly been resigning key free agents but has also made a few signings to add to the roster. Fans have been eager to see the team make splash moves under first year head coach Jerod Mayo. Fans were hammering the team on social media so the media team for the Patriots had a little fun in commenting back at all the fans.
New England Patriots Media Team Shares Hilarious Message
The social media team for the Patriots posted an image on Wednesday along with a hilarious caption. The image read, “Community Note” on X and they wanted the post to serve as a “healthy reminder” to the fans of the team during free agency.
“Admin added context they thought people might want to know,” the post reads.
“The Patriots social media team is not responsible for Free Agency decisions.”
It appears that fans try to get out all their anger on their teams on social media, when in fact the social media team has almost nothing to do with any types of real decisions. Patriots fans were upset again as Calvin Ridley, who was in deep talks with the team ended up singing with the Tennessee Titans.
The New England Patriots Off Season Is About To Heat Up
This is one of the biggest of season for the franchise in it’s history. After parting ways with the legend Bill Belichick, the team is taking a new direction for the first time in over two decades. The Patriots sit with the number 3 overall pick that are almost certain to use on trying to find their next franchise quarterback. The team signed Antonio Gibson to pair him in the backfield with Rhamondre Stevenson.
The team has been reported to be gearing up to make a few big moves before the draft. Specifically the team would like to bring in a top receiver to bolster the offense. Just don’t ask their social media team about any of these moves.
