NFL free agency has been absolutely insane so far, and while many fans and teams are extremely happy with some of their acquisitions so far, Micah Parsons however, is not a happy camper on Monday. Perhaps the biggest acquisition of the day was the Philadelphia Eagles signing fellow NFC East star running back Saquon Barkley.
Saquon Barkley Signing With Eagles Has Micah Parson Sick
The first to spill the story on Barkley agreeing to sign with the Eagles was NFL insider Adam Schefter.
“Former Giants RB Saquon Barkley reached agreement with the Philadelphia Eagles on a three-year, $37.75 million contract that could be worth up to $46.75M and includes $26M fully guaranteed at signing, per sources,” he reported.
“Barkley now beats the franchise tag number and has a maximum average-per-year salary of $15.833M, which would be second highest for a RB in NFL History.”
While Saquon took to twitter to share his excitement about joining his new team Micah had the opposite reaction. Micah could not believe that Saquon stayed in the NFC East to join the Eagles.
Micah Parsons Feels ‘Sick’ About Saquon Barkley Move
Micah was not a happy camper and he took to social media to share his distaste for the move on Monday.
“😂😂😂 sickening,” he wrote.
The Cowboys have a hole at running back, with Tony Pollard signing with the Tennessee Titans on Monday. While there have been rumors that the Cowboys are eyeing the former Titans star Derrick Henry to make a signing swap with the Titans, they could also look to fill their running back hole in the draft. The Cowboys have been very quiet so far, which is unlike their owner Jerry Jones said they would be, as he declared they will be all in. Maybe the Cowboys owner will listen to his players and start making some moves.
