NFL free agency have officially commenced and many teams have been making huge moves so far. The Dallas Cowboys however, have been very quiet so far, but on Tuesday they made their first free agent signing. A very quiet signing, as the team brought back their long snapper Trent Sieg. While this is not a major move at all, and very far from “going all in” as owner Jerry Jones said, there is still plenty of time to make more moves.
Dallas Cowboys Have Been Awfully Quiet During NFL Free Agency
The most notable roster shake ups for the team so far has been losing their running back Tony Pollard to the Tennessee Titans and losing their center Tyler Biadasz to the Washington Commanders. They have not found any replacements for either of those positions yet, and in regards to finding a running back, almost all the top free agents have now been locked up.
This is only the beginning for Dallas as they can lose even more key players during this free agency. Their star left tackle Tyron Smith could be on the move after 13 seasons with the team, and Stephen Gilmore could also be walking out the door as well. Dallas will have to start making some big splashes as they are set to lose many notable players.
Dallas Cowboys Fans Are Getting Antsy
Cowboys fans have been itching for some big signings in free agency and all they got so far was a long snapper to resign. This team has rarely made huge splashes in recent years, and this season seems like they will keep to that. It was reported that Dallas is waiting for the second wave of free agency to bring in some players as they will have to pay a few of their guys big money.
Dak Prescott, Ceedee Lamb, and Micah Parsons will all demand big money so this team can’t just bring in any free agent they want. But fans are still getting quite anxious watching all the best players come off the board while Dallas has just been losing their players.
