Missouri Tigers Land LB Darris Smith From The Transfer Portal
According to On3, Smith is the seventh-ranked linebacker in the transfer portal. Smith appeared in five games for the Bulldogs but had a stint where he was not with the team. In his limited time, he recorded three tackles and one tackle for loss. The Tigers now get another top-rated defensive player to add to their team. They are already ranked ninth this season and have high hopes for 2024.
2024 Outlook
The 2024 schedule is kind to the Tigers at least in terms of SEC standards. A trip to Tuscaloosa to take on the Crimson Tide is the toughest game on the schedule. The Tigers then get a bye week to prepare for Oklahoma coming to town. Outside of those two games, the others seem very winnable. Obviously, anything can happen in college football but the fact they avoid, Ole Miss, Texas, LSU, and Georgia in the regular season is a win.
