The Michigan Wolverines are gearing up for another College Football Playoff run. Last season, they made it but were trounced by TCU in the semifinals. One player that was missing was star running back Blake Corum. He missed the last couple of games because of a knee injury. Wolverines fans were happy when Corum announced that he would be back next season. However, we will have to wait a little longer to see him on the field.
Michigan Wolverines: When Will Blake Corum Be Ready?
Fans should not worry about this long-term. Harbaugh stated that Corum is on track to return at full strength in June. This will give him plenty of time before the start of the season in case he suffers a slight setback. The Wolverines will obviously be careful with his recovery. He was a huge part of the offense last season and will be again this season alongside Donovan Edwards. Those two together create a headache for opposing defenses.
Can Michigan Make It Three In A Row?
Can Michigan make it back to the College Football Playoff for a third time? With Corum, Edwards, and quarterback JJ McCarthy returning the offense will be tough to deal with. The Big Ten will be more difficult this year. Wisconsin is a completely new program. Illinois made some noise last year. Purdue scored a coveted transfer portal quarterback and Ohio State is always in the mix. However, the Wolverines have the players and coaching prowess to do it.

Hopefully, we will see a full season of Blake Corum. He was having a Heisman-caliber season before the knee injury. If he can repeat what he did last year, the Wolverines should be in the mix for the Big Ten and the College Football Playoff.
