ManningCast Holds Hilarious Auditions for a Third Host
As NFL fans know, the ManningCast is an alternative showing of some Monday Night Football games during the season, where former quarterbacks and brother Peyton and Eli Manning will commentate the game, and have special guests come aboard to interview for entertainment value. It looks like the two brothers are in search of a third host for the show, and a recent video posted by Adam Schefter revealed the audition lineup to be the third host on the Manning Cast.

This is a star-studded group of people, to say the least, with celebrities like DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, Reese Witherspoon, and even Mike Tyson auditioning to be the third host. Of course, there were some current players and coaches like Jared Goff, Kirk Cousins, Sean Payton, Dan Campbell, and Mike McDaniel. In his audition, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel can be caught saying to both Mannings, “You guys are terrible evaluators and go f*** yourself”, which certainly complements his persona and coaching style in real life.
All the auditions seemed to just be fillers and jokes for what is shown at the end of the video. After getting through all of the auditions and not choosing anyone on their “list”, former quarterback and the GOAT Tom Brady can be seen in the waiting room, sitting around with a dog, waiting around to get his audition. However, the lights shut off, and they do not give Brady an audition.
The video ends with Tom having a phone call with someone saying, “Nope. I didn’t get the ManningCast job. I guess I’ll just come back and play football again.” Now, obviously, with that statement being a joke, this video definitely points to signs that Tom Brady will be the third host on the ManningCast.
This would be a match made in heaven, as Brady and the Manning brothers have a long history with each other. Brady and Eli Manning played each other in two Super Bowls, with Eli winning both of them, while Brady and Peyton Manning were always the top two quarterbacks in the league during their time in the NFL. Both being in the AFC for either all or the majority of their careers, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning have always been each other’s arch-nemesis on the field, with Brady winning 11-6 matchups against Peyton.
All the rivalries aside, the Manning brothers and Tom Brady have a public love-hate relationship with each other, with it being all love at the end of the day. With Tom Brady “hopefully” not playing in the NFL anymore, the ManningCast would be perfect for the Manning brothers, and all NFL fans.
