The Kansas City Chiefs dynasty is well and truly underway after they pulled off an incredible upset over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII. They overcame plenty of obstacles throughout the 2023 season—including the underdog label during the buildup—to finish at the top of the NFL.
This is why it’s understandable if some of the back-to-back Super Bowl champs are making the most of their well-earned breaks. Two of the team’s top stars, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, had different ideas on how to spend their first weeks of post-Super Bowl freedom.

Sky Sports covered what the team’s two offensive pillars were up to after winning Super Bowl LVIII, and it was clear that they had different ideas on how to celebrate such a momentous occasion.
Patrick Mahomes, in true fatherly fashion, decided to take his family to Disneyland after winning his third Super Bowl Ring. The House Of Mouse immediately took the opportunity to honor him with a parade even before his home city was able to give him one.
Meanwhile, Travis Kelce was having the time of his life with his lover. He shook it off with Taylor Swift at a club while DJ Marshello was serving up bangers that wouldn’t allow any blank spaces in the minds of the three-time Super Bowl winner.
Will this keystone Chiefs duo be able to do it all over again next year?
After enjoying one of the best seasons any NFL player could have, the question naturally veered toward whether both Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce would be able to do it all over again.
The two had very outstanding regular seasons that became the key cog for their team’s incredible Super Bowl run. Mahomes’ 4183 passing yards and 27 touchdowns is actually a down year for him. Kelce was his favorite target, finishing the regular season with 984 yards and five TDs.
However, they need the rest of the team to step up if they are to make a three-peat happen. While they’ve proven that they can do everything themselves, having the rest of the team step up with them would secure next year’s Lombardi trophy as theirs.
