He made it. Kansas City Chiefs superstar Travis Kelce traveled halfway across the world to reunite with girlfriend Taylor Swift in Australia. The pop queen is currently in the Land Down Under as part of her Eras Tour, and being the supportive boyfriend that he is, Kelce just had to fly a few thousand miles just to be with her.
Kansas City Chiefs Star Travis Kelce Lands in Australia
The fans have so much invested in America’s new power couple. This only means that the media has been providing extensive coverage of pretty much their every move.
The folks in Australia are pretty excited about Kelce’s arrival, too. In fact, the Chiefs tight end put the local media in a bit of a frenzy as he landed at the airport on Thursday morning.
According to a report by Lisa Gutierrez and Pete Grathoff of The Kansas City Star, the Australian media were all over Kelce’s trip:
“A private plane carrying the Kansas City Chiefs tight end landed at Sydney Airport around 9 a.m. Thursday, which was 4 p.m. Wednesday in Kansas City.
“About 8,000 people had tracked the jet online on its flight from Honolulu to Sydney, according to Australian media. A news helicopter was reportedly on hand to film its arrival. Sydney news anchors were downright giddy earlier in the day reporting that Kelce was close.”
The said news helicopter captured the exact moment Kelce hopped off the private jet. At least one local news station even provided live coverage of the 34-year-old’s arrival:

You can be sure that Kelce will be hounded by the press throughout his trip, especially once he meets up with Taylor.
Swift will hold four more shows in Sydney over the course of the next five days, so she’s obviously going to be extremely busy. She will have a few days off, though, before the tour heads to Singapore on March 2.
