The Kansas City Chiefs released their Friday afternoon Super Bowl bye week injury report. It didn’t look promising for the offense ahead of Super Bowl Week.
The Chiefs are set to face the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl next Sunday. The Chiefs were hoping to use the bye week to have a few players heal up before playing the 49ers. Offensive guard Joe Thuney and wide receiver Skyy Moore were two big names on the injury report this week.
Three Kansas City Chiefs offensive players listed as questionable
Per the injury report Friday, the Chiefs, as expected, ruled out defensive end Charles Omenihu for the Super Bowl. Thuney did not practice on Friday and was listed as questionable to play next Sunday. Moore was a limited participant in practice but was listed as questionable to play the 49ers.
Offensive lineman Prince Tega-Wanogho was limited in practice on Friday and was listed as questionable to play next weekend.
Chris Jones, Isiah Pacheco, Skyy Moore (IR), and Prince Tega-Wanogho (IR) were limited in practice today.

Joe Thuney isn’t trending toward playing
Thuney’s injury is especially looking concerning for the Super Bowl. The fact that Thuney has been unable to practice at all this week means he’s trending toward not playing against the 49ers’ stout defensive line.
The Chiefs will hope to see some major improvement from Thuney during practice next week if he hopes to play.
