Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers absolutely demolished the Dallas Cowboys in Wild Card weekend, so much so that the fans are already calling for Dallas to make a change at head coach. Jordan Love played an exceptional game and had a perfect passer rating up until late in the fourth quarter.
Love finished the game with a 76.2 completion percentage, 272 yards, 3 touchdowns, no turnovers, and a 157.2 passer rating. You can’t play much better in your first playoff game and his play already has the NFL world saying that the Packers now have their third amazing quarterback in a row following Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers.
Love completely outplayed Dak Prescott in this game and looked miles ahead of Dak in terms of calmness and composure. Love looked like more of a veteran than Dak in this game, and he threw a funny jab at the Dallas Cowboys quarterback on the last play of the game.
Green Bay Packers’ Jordan Love Steals Dak Prescott’s Cadence
Dak was playing well all year long, especially at home and one of the new things he implemented for the Cowboys was his new cadence in which he would sing “here we gooo” right before the ball was snapped. Everyone who has watched the Cowboys this year has heard Dak saying this almost every play. It was a nice new development for him and Jordan Love stole it for the final play of the game.

Many fans on X noticed Jordan Love on the last play of the game stole Dak’s cadence in a very poetic way. Jordan may have planned that before the game which shows how confident the first year starter is, making plans of how to troll the Cowboys when you win the game. While Love did not sing “here we go” as nicely as Dak has been before snaps, it is a poetic troll from the first year starter.
Head coach Matt LaFleur had a lot of praise for Love after the game saying:
“Jordan Love. Wow,” head coach Matt LaFleur remarked in his postgame news conference. “That’s about all I can say. What he did and the poise he shows. The command he shows. … I’m just so proud and happy for him.”
He should be proud and very happy as LaFleur knows he has another amazing quarterback and that this team is going to be good again for a while. Love seems like a proper franchise quarterback and said that he expected this when coming into the game. Love was quoted in his post game press conference saying:
“We came in here with the mindset that we were gonna dominate,” Love told Fox’s Erin Andrews after the victory. “A lot of people counted us out and we didn’t care about that. We knew what opportunity we had in front of us and made the most of it tonight.”
The youngest team in the league in the Packers came in to Dallas and absolutely stomped the Cowboys in large part to Jordan Love’s coming out party. It was beautiful for Love to end the game with a nice jab, not just to the Cowboys, but to the entire NFL saying “I’m here.”
The Packers will now have to do the impossible again as they will go to San Francisco with an opportunity to go to the NFC Championship. Everyone will count this team out again and Love knows that. We will see if they can accomplish the impossible again. This team has nothing to lose and they are playing exertional behind the up and coming Jordan Love.
