It has been a past two crazy days for Georgia football recruiting. On Saturday, it landed the best quarterback in the 2026 class in Jared Curtis, and then on Sunday, they saw one of their best recruits in the 2025 class flip to an up-and-coming Big Ten school.
Georgia loses Justus Terry To USC
According to Tom VanHaaren from ESPN, Georgia’s five-star defensive tackle, Justus Terry, flipped to and now will be heading to USC.
According to 247sports.com, Terry is the second-best defensive lineman in the 2025 class and eighth-best among all players.
Terry is from Manchester, Georgia, so losing one of your in-state players doesn’t look great, and he’s heading to the opposite coast.
USC Needs To Be Physical In The Big Ten
USC will be heading to the Big Ten this season, and landing Terry for the 2025 season is a big deal for the program. USC is going to have to play tough, physical football. Going against teams like Iowa, Michigan, and Wisconsin, who love to run the football, and you have to win at the line of scrimmage, and landing a great player on the defensive line will help.
Kirby Smart And The 2025 Class Will Be Fine
Losing Terry will not be a big deal for Georgia. We all know the Bulldogs will still have a top-three class in 2025, and Kirby Smart has gotten results on and off the field, so he will go out and get someone to replace Terry at that spot and turn him into an outstanding player.
