The Denver Broncos are coming off their biggest win of the season, taking down the Kansas City Chiefs 24-9. However, Denver has made it clear that they will be listening to offers for all of their player before the trade deadline. This includes some of their wide receivers like Jerry Jeudy. However, a proposal by Bleacher Report has suggested that the team picks up one of the league’s top tight ends.
Broncos have to upgrade the tight end position this off season. Greg Dulcich is unreliable.
Wouldn't mind them targeting Hunter Henry or Mike Gesicki. https://t.co/idDIlOmBEV

Denver Broncos Offensive Struggles
Denver isn’t exactly in a position to be buyers at the deadline, but if they plan to have success on offense, they will need to get some more help. If they end up trading away some of their receivers, they will need to get something if they want to remain competitive. New England Patriots tight end Mike Gesicki has emerged as a potential option to add to this offense.
Head coach Sean Payton has a history of having great tight ends on his team, so this move could help the struggling Denver offense get to the next level. Gesicki has not had the impact that was expected of him since joining the Patriots, and Payton could be the perfect coach to bring out his potential.
Mike Gesicki Impact
So far this season, Gesicki has only amounted to 160 receiving yards and one touchdown. He was great for his entire career when he was with the Miami Dolphins, and has dropped in production while being on a struggling Patriots offense. In his career, he has gone for 2,777 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns and has two seasons with over 700 yards.
The Broncos are sitting at a 3-5 record through the first eight weeks of the 2023 season and are coming off a huge win against their divisional rival. The offense looks like they are starting to put it together and the defense has been much better. Adding Gesicki could be the missing puzzle piece for this struggling Denver offense.
