DeAndre Hopkins might be tired of being on the Tennessee Titans already. Punt returner Kyle Philips muffed a punt inside the five-yard line with just seconds to go in the first half, causing the Baltimore Ravens to kick a field goal going into halftime with a commanding 18-3 lead. Philips was visibly upset going to the bench, and Hopkins got up and walked away from him once he sat down in frustration.

Tennessee Titans’ Struggles
The Titans have gotten off to a 2-3 start to the season, struggling to get anything going on the offensive side of the ball. They have started the season with only 1,587 yards offensively and have struggled to get into the end zone. Tannehill only has two touchdown passes this season and running back Derrick Henry has two rushing touchdowns.
Is DeAndre Hopkins Already Done With Tennessee?
Hopkins has amounted to 356 receiving yards with no touchdowns in 2023 and has been visibly upset with the team’s struggles after signing with them this season. He went to Tennessee thinking that they could be a contender this season but has been proven otherwise as they continue to struggle to find their stride.
As for Kyle Philips, he has been coming back from injury most of the season, and his only stat line in 2023 so far is this muffed punt. It will be interesting to see if head coach Mike Vrabel keeps Phillips as the returner as he has had problems protecting the ball since he joined the team in 2022.
