The Miami Dolphins house a superstar-caliber player in wide receiver Tyreek Hill. The former Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl champion inked a four-year, $120 million contract with Miami in 2022, posting career numbers with the AFC East club. Last season, Hill led the league in receiving yards (1,799) and touchdowns (13), earning All-Pro honors and MVP votes for the second consecutive season. Despite playing receiver and the Dolphins winless in the postseason during the Tyreek Hill era, one NFL player believes the speedster is the best player in the league heading into the 2024 campaign.
On Friday, multiple NFL Network Top 100 ballots were released, with one anonymous player putting Hill in the top spot. More importantly, Hill was in the top four among the four brackets that NFL Films revealed on Twitter.
Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill: High Praise From Peers

The NFL Network’s Top 100 Players of 2024 comes together through the voting of currently active players. NFL Films displayed the top 20 of four players on Friday, with Miami Dolphins Tyreek Hill sitting in the top four on each ballot. One in particular had Hill as the top player in the league, surpassing Kansas City Chiefs three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Patrick Mahomes, two-time MVP Lamar Jackson, and reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett. Only Mahomes, Jackson, and Hill finished within the top five on all four ballots.

Hill has been a consistent receiving threat in the NFL since 2016, earning Pro Bowl honors yearly during that stretch. The five-time All-Pro also made the NFL’s 2010s All-Decade Team as a punt returner. Meanwhile, Larry Fitzgerald, Julio Jones, and Calvin Johnson represented for the wide receiver position.
Hill: Entering Year Three With Miami Dolphins

Since 2022, Tyreek Hill’s first with the Miami Dolphins, he leads the NFL in receiving yards with 3,509. Hill is also second in receiving touchdowns and receptions. Hill also trailed only Detroit Lions star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown in most 100-yard receiving games last season with eight. More importantly for Miami, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has taken a massive step forward since the arrival of Hill circa 2022.
Tagovailoa threw for 4,467 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 15 picks during his first two NFL seasons. However, after the arrival of Hill and head coach Mike McDaniel in 2022, the former first-round pick has thrown for 8,172 yards, 54 touchdowns, and 22 interceptions.
