If you wonder where all the Dallas Cowboys fans are after the start of the 2024 free agency began, they are either in denial or on figurative life support after their team seemingly missed out on acquiring any talented free agents that could help them win more games.
Due to the team’s lack of marquee signings during the early days of free agency, it seems less than likely that they’ll be able to put together a stronger team that would help them get over the hump and make the Super Bowl.
One of the Cowboys’ high-profile fans didn’t hold back when it came to clowning the team on social media. He used his massive reach to send a message to Jerry Jones, and he didn’t mince his words with his thoughts.
Skip Bayless mocks Jerry Jones, Dallas Cowboys for their failure to acquire elite free agents
Tzvi Machlin of The Spun wrote about the popular host of Undisputed feeling extreme anger over his Cowboys’ inability to attract players to play for the squad.
His barb on social media specifically targeted Jerry Jones’ words, which may have brought delight to fans who loved seeing America’s Team down on their luck:
Fox Sports analyst and Dallas Cowboys fan Skip Bayless was practically foaming at the mouth in anticipation of the NFL free agency frenzy. But the first wave has seen precious few transactions by his beloved Cowboys, and he’s now gone from foaming to fuming.
Taking to X a short while ago, Bayless mocked Cowboys owner Jerry Jones for his “all in” statement from earlier this month.
“All in, my ass,” Bayless wrote.
Are the Dallas Cowboys really ‘all in’ to win the Super Bowl in 2024?
It’s understandable why Bayless would be speaking for the Cowboys fandom due to the lack of effective players brought over by the storied franchise. Not only did they lose Tony Pollard, but they also failed to bring over players like Saquon Barkley as he joined their NFC East rivals in the Philadelphia Eagles.
What sparks Bayless’ ire even more was Jones’ bold declaration that the team is all in to bring home the Lombardi trophy to Arlington:
“We will be going all in,” Jones declared a few days back. “I would say that you will see us this coming year not build it for the future.”
“Your definition of what is all in and mine might not be the same thing, but I’m trying to win the games this year with my decision. So I’m all in to this year.”
Bayless and the rest of the Dallas Cowboys fans hope that the team has a clear plan when it comes to building a competitive roster that can help them get over their playoff curse.
