The Dallas Cowboys were supposed to be hyperactive when it came to free agency this season as they are hungry to make a deep playoff run.
However, the first day of free agency flew by with the Cowboys missing out on almost every key player who were linked to them. What’s worse is that they let some key players go in the process.
As fans continue to be puzzled over what the Cowboys are actually planning to do, throughout the offseason, some of the more vocal sections didn’t hesitate to let the team know how disappointed they are with the team’s inactions on social media.
Dallas Cowboys fans express disappointment over abysmal free agency
The Spun’s Andrew Holleran collated some of the most passionate comments from fans after the first day came and went for the Dallas Cowboys.
Many of the fans wanted the team to at least do something and not just be inactive in the free agent market:
“Cowboys please do something,” one fan added.
“Might as well schedule this tweet for the trade deadline too,” one fan added.
“They’re on the yacht not paying any attention,” another fan added.
Former Dallas lineman Marcus Spears poked fun at the team’s supposed mentality coming into the offseason:
All in 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Other fans had their share of fun clowning on Jones and the rest of the Cowboys organization:

Micah Parsons could only laugh after fellow Penn State alum Saquon Barkley declared he would be playing for NFC East rivals Philadelphia Eagles when he was linked to the Cowboys for the longest time:

What will the Dallas Cowboys do now?
Nobody knows what the exact game plan Jerry Jones and company has when it comes to the offseason. With the lack of quality players signed during the opening of free agency, nobody really knows how Mike McCarthy can build a better squad than last year.
However, it’s clear to fans that they will not be satisfied with the moves the Cowboys made unless they pull off an incredible draft in April.
