Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay revealed troublesome news Wednesday on the rehab of star wide receiver Cooper Kupp. McVay told reporters last week that Kupp’s hamstring injury had a setback. Kupp was considered day-to-day with the injury.
Things have not gotten better for Kupp in a week.
The Los Angeles Rams could be without Cooper Kupp for a while
According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, McVay said Kupp is ruled out for the Rams Week 1 contest against the Seattle Seahawks. The Rams’ best wide receiver could be headed to the injured reserve.

Kupp’s injury comes at a time when the Rams don’t have star power on the offense to spare. After a few years of heavy spending during their Super Bowl window, the Rams are going through austerity this season. The Rams need Van Jefferson and Tutu Atwell to step up on Sunday.
