Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick continues to make headlines as he continues his journey back into the National Football League world. He has been part of rumors, offers, and controversy trying to do so. A report has come out that a former New England Patriots star is calling for Kaepernick to sign with the New York Jets. Ty Law has made it clear that he is not a fan of current quarterback Zach Wilson and has called upon Kaepernick to keep trying to sign with the team.

Ty Law Comments
Law went on “The Greg Hill Show” to express his thoughts on the Jets quarterback situation. The former star said, “They just need to go ahead and make a splash. You got Aaron Rodgers, all this hype. ‘Hard Knocks,’ you’re doing all of that good stuff. Might as well keep it going, man. Bring back (Colin) Kaepernick.”
Kaepernick reached out to the team after Rodgers went down, but the Jets did not seem interested. He had rapper J Cole send out a letter to the team asking them if he could join their practice squad. The offer was ultimately turned down which shut down all of the rumors of Kaepernick joining the team.
Colin Kaepernick’s Comeback Attempt
Kaepernick has been bouncing around different professional football leagues since the letter was released. He even met with XFL owner Dwayne Johnson to discuss potentially playing in the league. Johnson came out after the meeting and said it most likely will not happen. Kaepernick ultimately wanted a bigger paycheck that the XFL could not offer him and turned down the offer.
He has since been added to the negotiation list of the CFL team, the B.C. Lions. He will most likely turn down this offer as well for similar reasons. He has been part of NFL rumors with fans for certain teams calling for him to play for them. Some potential suitors include the New York Jets, New England Patriots, and Arizona Cardinals. We will see what Kaepernick decides to do as the season continues.

Now what are you all gonna say?
NY Jets Win!!
Besides Kaepernick SUCKS and is too old
Not even the Cardinals would sign him and they’re TRYING to lose every game!
👍
No kidding. He made his bed let him live in it. He wanted to make a point on the field and fans wanted nothing to do with it.
He is one of the reasons I quit watching NFL
Why
He is not too old I think he’ll do great and if Tom Brady can still play come aboard CK
Just go away knapsack.
👍👍
Why don’t YOU just go away!!!
Neither the NFL nor their fans doesn’t want Kaepernick.
Feel free to keep pushing this same tired story, but it’s nonsense.
Wow, lots of angry birds out there. Go Colin.
Anyone with a brain isn’t bringing that problem into their franchise. It doesn’t matter what some random player on a completely different team thinks, especially after Zach Wilson led the Jets to victory over the Eagles just last night. He doesn’t deserve to come back and cause more problems.
👍👍👍
Colin only deserves to be an ex-NFL player. Go home Colin!!!
Kaepernick is the jets superman that can get them to a super bowl next year 2024
Hey Ty, why not bring Colon (sic) to your Patsies. Smack Jones isn’t doing it. You worry about your team and leave the Jets alone.
He won’t play in the NFL again. Nobody wants him and besides if he truly wanted to play instead of just get attention he would play for the XFL or CFL to show people he can still play. The dude is a joke that burned every bridge he had and shit on the ashes.
I Love the last statement of this article.” We will see what Kaepernick decides”. Comical! As if his decision means anything to anyone. No team in the NFL wants him. It seems that if he loved the game of football, he would play with anybody in the XFL or CFL. Obviously that’s not the case. He loves the money, the fame and the bigger stage for his ridiculous social justice warrior opinions.
Dude he was terrible towards the end of his career. Using his kneeling as an excuse give it up.
I say give him a second chance !! He was not the only one who took a knee during the National Anthem !! What happened to the rest that took a knee during the National Anthem !!?
If Colin Kaepernick were to play for the New York Jets people will stop buying tickets and stop showing up for the games you would have such a low attendance of people showing up that you would probably have to get rid of Colin Kaepernick nobody in the NFL want to cry baby playing for them
If it was truly about playing football he would go play for cfl,xfl and price he San still play. And since he turned them away it’s obvious that this is just a stunt to keep him name in headlines.
Kap became persona non grata in the NFL over his kneeling “controversy”. The same people who neither understand nor care about police on POC brutality didn’t appreciate a touch of reality invading their telecast. So a Super Bowl quality athlete was cut loose. Kap is 35 now, and has kept himself mentally and physically ready for this last chance to redeem himself. Unless the Jets enjoy losing, they’ll get Kap signed ASAP so he can start putting up the wins again.
So if teams have offered him a job and he has turned them down, it’s not about playing, it’s about Money💲💲💲.. He hasn’t played in how many years??
Haters haters haters he’s a human being an no man or women should put down any person beliefs Blacks hav it hard enough expressing how they feel not a cowboy but good look Brother from Another 🙏
Freak Him! Get the Hell Out of the USA if you don’t support the FLAG!!! Football is part of the flag in some ways and we don’t take a knealer! Only people who stand up for America!
One day people will learn that, involving yourself in politics when your aren’t in politics can ruin your career. Kaepernick and Bud Light have both been taught a lesson about staying in your lane.
He also listen to his Muslim girlfriend, who should have minded her own business.
