Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been trying to get back into the league for many years and may have just found the perfect suitor. The New York Jets are at the top of Kaepernick’s list, and he even wrote them a letter to convince them to take a chance on him.

This seems like too good of an offer for the Jets to pass up. Famous rapper J Cole even released the letters to the public with Kaepernick’s permission, and this is what they read:
“Worst case scenario, you see what I have to offer and you’re not that impressed. best case scenario, you realize you have a real weapon at your disposal in the event you ever need to use it. In either of these scenarios, would be committed to getting your defense ready week in and week out, all season long, and I would wear that responsibility like a badge of honor”.
Colin Kaepernick
The former 49ers quarterback that brought them to the Super Bowl Colin Kaepernick is trying to work his way back into the NFL. If the Jets took him up on his offer, it would only be a matter of time until he starts for them due to their terrible situation at the quarterback position.
In the six years he played, Kaepernick amounted to 12,271 passing yards and 72 touchdowns. These are decent stats, especially for a guy who is willing to join your practice squad to re-surge his career.
Zach Wilson
The Jets’ current starting quarterback Zach Wilson has been nothing but a disappointment in 2023. Wilson has only thrown for 467 yards and two touchdowns in three games, plummeting his QBR to just 26.7 which is 33rd in the NFL. Just for some emphasis, there are only 32 teams in the league. Yeah, it’s that bad for Zach Wilson and the Jets offense.
Aaron Rodgers was supposed to be the quarterback for New York this year, but went down with a torn Achilles in the Jets’ first drive of the season, sidelining him for the entire year. If the Jets want a shot at a postseason birth, they better act on this offer from Kaepernick fast before it’s too late.

Kaepernick, its a great idea Jets. I’m a San Francisco 49ers fan faithful. I’m also a fan of the game and of him. San Francisco 49ers, get Kaepernick.
The Guy deserve another chance, he’s done no more wrong than some of the player’s, management still in the league, can’t a person get chance to prove himself by what the league say’s is inappropriate he’s served his punishment by not playing All these years, aren’t we as American supposed to forgive not forget for The same things going on in our country still to this Day But some with not such a bigger names as professionals.give The Guy a chance he’s probably still better than half of the Quarterbacks playing or starting in the league right now Just My feeling and thought. Thanks
Kaepernick is a bad idea for any team no matter how skillful. He fails to leave politics at home and brought disruption to a sport that people enjoyed until disrespecting the flag and country. I would rather the Jets finish last over taking on an “entitled, self-centered egomaniac” who failed to learn his lesson about keeping sports and personal politics to the field. NO, to Kaepernick.
I think he’s a much better option than Zach Wilson, which is not saying much haha.
Nobody’s “shocked,” unless laughing hysterically is your idea of “shocked.”
It is not a good idea for any team to involve themselves with this idiot. He should look for a job coaching high school football somewhere, and disappear as he should have long ago.
Too many good young talented players to waste time with his toxic attitude.
I hope he returns to the NFL…
I hope you never get on a field ever again. You dont deserve to be in the league after disrespectully NOT STANDING GO AWAY KAPERNICK ITS OVER NOBODY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT YOU OR EVER WILL AGAIN.
Guy has paid his dues. Jets could definitely use him. He’s in shape, still has a rocket for an arm. He’s a good decision maker and can read and adjust to plays accordingly. Wouldn’t hurt to give him another shot. While I’m not a big supporter guy deserves another shot. And Jets definitely could use a bailout or they might as well sit out this season.
