Coastal Carolina fans are encouraged to wear white as they welcome Buffalo to the “White Out” game at Brooks Stadium on Saturday. The 2-0 Chanticleers wrap up a three-game non-conference homestand this Saturday, September 17th.

With CCU’s non-conference win over Gardner-Webb last week, the Chants have won 12 straight regular-season non-conference games. Their last regular-season non-conference loss came to Eastern Michigan (30-23) in the 2019 home opener.

    Buffalo Bulls on paper

McCall and company prepare for the Bulls to enter Myrtle Beach 0-2, coming off losses to Maryland and Holy Cross. Last week Holy Cross tossed up a Hail Mary as time expired to defeat Buffalo 37-31 in regulation. The Bulls’ offense is averaging 366 total yards per game while putting up 20.5 points per contest. Usually known for their ground and pound rushing attack, Buffalo is averaging 133.5 rushing yards per game. UB quarterback Cole Snyder, a Rutgers transfer, has thrown for 465 yards and three touchdowns in the early portion of the 2022 season. On the defensive side of the ball, linebackers Shaun Dolac and James Patterson lead UB in tackles.

CCU milestones and last year’s meeting

The Chanticleers entered the 2022 regular season celebrating the program’s 20th year in college football. With CCU’s win over Army earlier in the season, the Chants picked up their 150th win in program history. There has been no shortage of milestone victories in front of the home crowd at Brooks Stadium.
