New England Patriots Bill Belichick

Bill Belichick Will Sign With The Los Angeles Chargers According To A League Source

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has been in several rumors recently regarding his job with the Patriots being in jeopardy. He has been linked to several teams and credible sources have even said that there has already been a determined destination for the long-time head coach. The specific team has not yet been revealed, however, a league source said that there is one team that stands out more than the others.

Bill Belichick Rumors

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick speaks to the media on Wednesday, September 7, at the Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Athletic Campus in West Palm Beach, FL., before the team’s recent practice in Palm Beach County ahead of the game against the Miami Dolphins on September 11.

The source believes that Belichick will sign with the Los Angeles Chargers if he leaves New England. It says that Los Angeles has a great quarterback, a roster that can contend and that the veteran coach likes the California area. This move would make sense as current Chargers’ head coach Brandon Staley has been on the hot seat for a while, and fans have been demanding a new head coach for quite a while.

The rumors regarding Belichick are hotter than they have ever been right now, and this one makes the most sense. If you give Belichick a quarterback like Justin Herbert and let him control the defensive playcalling, Los Angeles could become an instant contender to win it all. It looks like Staley has been losing the locker room week by week, and he could be let go by the team very soon.

Belichick has cemented himself as one of the greatest coaches of all time in the NFL, amounting to a 300-160 overall record during his tenure. He has led the Patriots to many Super Bowls in his time with the team, winning six of them out of the nine appearances. Some believe that former quarterback Tom Brady is the reason why the team performed so well, but it’s hard to not give Belichick some credit for the team’s success.

New England has been a major disappointment this season and has a record of 2-8, which is the worst in the entire AFC conference. Belichick has never had a team that has been struggling like they are now, which has led to many rumors of the head coach and the team parting ways very soon. Staley’s job with the Chargers has been in jeopardy, and if the Chargers do not make the playoffs this season or have another heartbreaker in the postseason, he is much more likely to be let go by the team rather than staying.
