The New Orleans Saints have been busy today as this is now the third time today where they have restructured one of their stars contracts in order to meet with the NFL’s compliance before the start of the league’s new year. The Saints restructured both defensive end Cam Jordan and running back Alvin Kamara on Monday to meet those requirements. Just hours after New Orleans worked on a deal that would adjust Cam Jordan’s contract, the Saints have done the same with one of their top running backs. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the New Orleans Saints have restructured their contract with running back Alvin Kamara, saving another $7 million against the salary cap.
