It is officially draft month and the New Orleans Saints will be on the clock on April 27th with the 29th overall pick. New Orleans had a blaring need at the quarterback position coming into the offseason with Andy Dalton heading to free agency. We are still several months away from the start of the 2023 college football season and with that comes preseason award watch lists. Two LSU Tigers were named to the Walter Camp Football Preseason All-America teams. Defensive tackle Mekhi Wingo and linebacker Harold Perkins are the lone Tigers to be on the list after a sensational 2022 campaign. The New Orleans Saints are starting to prepare for the 2023 NFL Draft by conducting visits and workouts with some of the top prospects in this year’s draft class.
